We Respect Your Privacy

We don’t have any interest or business in your data. Data you enter or otherwise capture into Chargey remains on your device and, if enabled, your private iCloud data store and backup. That’s it.

Location Services

Chargey uses iOS location services to put pins in the map when you’re road tripping, and to look up the name/address of the location when adding log entries. Location details, like all Chargey data, are stored only in the app database on the device and (if enabled) private iCloud data store and backup.

Camera and Photo Library

Chargey uses the camera to allow adding photos to your log entries and to scan charger screens for data. Chargey uses the photo library to allow adding existing photos for your vehicle or logs from your existing collection. In addition, if you take a picture through Chargey, a full-size original photo is written to your photo library for safekeeping. We do not use the photo library for any other purpose. Photos, like all Chargey data, are stored only in the private app database on the device and (if enabled) private iCloud data store and backup.
